  • Overview

    Our school is currently hiring for the following positions:
     
    1. Assistant Teacher-Infant- 6:30-3:30p,
    Requirements: Prefer 4 year degree in Child Development with at least
    1-2 year experience in the infant/toddler classroom for the Lead Teacher
    position, SIDs, CPR First Aid/Safety, Qualifying letter
    Preferred and/or Edu 119 and/or associate
    degree in child development

    2. Lead Teacher-Waddler Classroom - 9:30-6:30p
    Requirements: Associate degree in child development. At least 1-2
    year experience in the infant/toddler classroom SIDs, CPR First
    Aid/Safety, Qualifying letter preferred
     
    3. Floater/Part-time Wraparound teacher- 2 needed 10:00-5:00, 1 needed
    2:30-6:30p
    Requirements: EDU 119, First Aid/Safety, Qualifying letter from
    Division of Child Development
     
    Salary:Above average pay

    Requirements

     
    Requirements:
    - Prefer a minimum of 6 months experience working with children
    - Minimum of AA preferred in ECE 
    - ECE semester hours and any BA/BS degree accepted
    - Flexible and energetic on the job
    - Have the ability to juggle multiple duties
    - Ability to resolve conflicts between children
    - Excellent communication and people skills
    - Must pass a criminal background check
     

    Responsibilities

     
    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    - Planning, teaching and implementing the curriculum for all children from infants through preschool children
    - Providing love and quality care for the children throughout the day in order to meet their emotional and physical needs 
    - Planning and executing indoor and outdoor experiences appropriate to the developmental levels of the children
    - Interacting with children both physically and verbally throughout the day
    - Assisting children with their personal hygiene and clean up of classroom
    - Serve and eat meals with the children
    - Meet with parents, staff, and administration
    - Attend in-service and staff development training programs
    - Familiarity with state licensing requirements and CNI policies
